New Horoscopes for the Week of May 27th – June 2nd

Mosaic Artist – Jeanne Opgenhaffen

WEEKLY OVERVIEW

Juno, newly in direct motion in the sign of Libra, begins to feel more comfortable with commitment – having the conversation, changing course, transitioning into the next phase of a relationship, considering a compromise, or asking the question. The “back and forth” or hesitation is dissolving. Deeper levels of truth have been revealed.

Mercury transits from the objective sign of Gemini into the feeling sign of Cancer. Problem solving, communication, plans, and agendas can now take the emotional factor into consideration. Home and family considerations may require more of your attention. A move/relocation may be contemplated.

Pallas retrogrades back into the sign of Capricorn this week after “dipping his toe” into an unconventional strategy that seemed intriguing. Now the real work begins – further investigation, possible implementation, and the manifestation of something real that was previously just a (brilliant) idea or area of interest. “Getting the kinks out” addressing knowledge gaps, or financial considerations may require more effort, time, discipline, and commitment.

Venus is moving in retrograde motion in the sign of Gemini. She’s approaching an inferior conjunction with the Sun on June 3rd. An important “seeding time” is indicated.

We’re also headed into the eclipse season – more specifically toward a Lunar eclipse at 15 degrees of Sagittarius on Friday June 5th. This week we’ll be feeling the energy build in the form of an urge to expand our reach, to experience something more adventurous, freer, less confined, more inspired, etc.

FULL MOON PENUMBRAL LUNAR ECLIPSE AT 15 DEGREES OF SAGITTARIUS 34′ ON FRIDAY, JUNE 5, 2020 AT 3:12 PM EDT.

The last time we experienced a lunar eclipse at this degree was in June of 2012. At that time we may have experienced urges to set ourselves free – to travel, or to move beyond our “personal best.”

But in 2012 that urge needed to be balanced with more practical considerations i.e., the “facts on the ground.” Risk/benefit assessments were important. Delays were frustrating. End points and timing needed to be carefully calculated. A decision needed be made. On the bigger stage presidential election in the U.S.was ramping up.

This week Mercury conjuncts the North Node at 29 Degrees of Gemini. We may feel especially inspired or guided to move forward in a direction that feels hopeful/promising.

The Sun in Gemini sextiles Chiron in Aries. Opportunities to address our health or an area of sensitivity/vulnerability continue to materialize.

We may need to make a few emotionally difficult adjustments in order to maintain a high level of competency, organization, leadership, production, sanity, etc. An ongoing strain may be taking a toll that requires something more sensitive/nurturing. A self care routine may need to be applied on a regular basis.

Venus in Gemini squares Mars in Pisces challenging us to let our imagination or a work of fiction transport us “above the fray.” We may need to set aside alone time or to find ways to remotely/safely connect.

A list of this years remaining eclipses:

Friday, June 5: Penumbral Lunar Eclipse in Sagittarius
Sunday, June 21: Annular Solar Eclipse in Cancer
Sunday, July 5: Penumbral Lunar Eclipse in Capricorn
Monday, November 30: Penumbral Lunar Eclipse in Gemini
Monday, December 14: Total Solar Eclipse in Sagittarius

The last eclipse in December looks to be the most powerful one.

Thanks for reading,

Holly

ARIES (March 21-April 21)
This week the Sun in Gemini aligns with Chiron in your 1st house. More information or knowledge encourages you to courageously move in the direction of your own “maverick-y style and maybe Something iconoclastic within the healing realm may be seriously considered. Increasingly emotional factors will need to be taken into consideration. Your attention turns to the past – home, family, and something more foundationally supportive of your deepest needs. New ideas and strategies move you into a more challenging implementation/manifestation/organizational phase. Learning something new might entail a deep dive into the subconscious/mythical/archetypal realms. Your mind may contemplate something that holds great promise for the further development of your talents and the fulfillment of your life’s central purpose. Communication become less objective and more subjective. Emotional needs need to be factored in.

TAURUS (April 21-May 21)
Venus is moving in retrograde motion toward a rare conjunction with the Sun in your 2nd house of stabilization. A “seeding time” is just around the corner. Mercury’s move into your 3rd house might require the initiation of a sensitive conversation, the acknowledgement of what’s needed, a plan, more supporting paperwork, etc. Financial stabilization and ensuring comfort and permanence might be important. As something is outgrown, you may consider getting rid of the old in exchange for something new. This may relate to an old belief. A deeply embedded/invisible source of pain/vulnerability is gently highlighted and soothed or exposed by the light of the Sun. Something hidden is clarified. Mercury’s conjunction to the North Node ensures the arrival of hope, reassurance, and something promising. A deeper truth is accessed. An old outdated belief may be losing steam. This works in your favor.

GEMINI (May 21-June 21)
Mercury, your chart ruler, changes signs this week. The implication is that it’s time to release old thoughts, ideas and long-settled conclusions that influence your current style and approach to life. They may be minimizing your power in some regard. The replacement of something old with something more current and meaningful is possible. Old, painful, restrictive beliefs and memories concerning your role within the realm of relationships might be stubbornly embedded but ripe for release this week. If you focus on imagining an easy flow of old fear (shame, regret, etc) moving away from you, you might simultaneously feel your a power over your life being returned to you. A return to something more authentic, stabilizing and settled is possible. Reconnecting with your original rhythm is the opportunity. Juno’s move into direct motion makes this the perfect time for a new commitment to the fresh, undistorted present moment.

CANCER (June 21-July 21)
There’s been a lot going on behind the scenes for Cancer in terms of gestating thoughts, developing ideas, and the conversations you’ve been having with yourself and others. As Mercury moves over your ascendent your thoughts may be more grounded. You may have an announcement to make. A creative communication or writing project might be initiated. Feelings are factored in. A more sensitive style and approach to your role within the realm of relationships may be cultivated. The Sun’s transit through your 12th house indicates an ending phase that will be followed by a new beginning on June 21st. In the meantime it may be harder to hold onto what’s old and outdated. Throw out what you no longer need, spend more time alone, and take advantage of your enhanced ability to connect with sources of inspiration and guidance. A sudden flash of hope-filled insight clarifies your life purpose and feels promising. You may be more willing to commit to something traditional or foundational – a partnership possibly.

LEO (July 21-Aug 21)
The Sun’s placement in your 11th house may be clarifying your ideas about the kind of “audience” that will be receptive to your ideas and talents and how you might connect with those. You might want your image to reflect your outstanding work ethic or the quality of your work. You might want your form of transportation to reflect something important and unique about you – to give the right impression or to make the kind of impact you want to make. But old beliefs about who you are might be exclusive and small. A new phase of soul-searching might unearth something hidden that expands and empowers your approach to work and the quality of service you’re able to provide. An enlightened strategy with regard to relationships may be re-introduced into the work place. Now is when the the hard work involving implementation or re-organization begins. But essentially it’s all very personal. Aligning your work methods with the newly emerging characteristics of your higher self is the ultimate work challenge.

VIRGO (August 21-Sep 21)
Jupiter, Pluto and now Pallas are all favorably aspecting Virgo (by sign) from your 5th house of creativity. A creative tour-de-force in the making may be receiving a powerful assist from the cosmos in the form of a beautifully supportive trine. The combination of hard work, inspiration, and meticulous attention to detail lifts you into the realm of something potentially groundbreaking – a powerfully influential success. An idea or strategy that enlightens your creative process is re-introduced into the creative realm. Something involving lovers and children may form the backbone of the story you’re writing or the message you’re trying to convey. Stay focused as you move through the challenging parts. A collaboration might be interesting. Virgo is persistent, critical, and attentive to the details. It’s the details that could make the biggest impact. Efforts are likely to be abundantly rewarded.

LIBRA (September 21 – October 21)
Your 9th house – the house traditionally thought of as the most fortunate of all – is highlighted this week. Your luck improves to the extent you’re open to it. Something good is likely to expand. Mercury conjuncts your North Node at 29 degrees of Gemini. The North Node symbolizes good fortune and the removal of anything obstructive on the path leading to the central purpose of your life. To me this looks like a flash of insight into what your life was destined to be. Something unusually hopeful and promising is set in motion. Something deeply appreciative is likely to further enhance whatever good fortune you’ve got going on or about to experience. Juno in your 1st house of self assertion may be ushering you into a new phase of commitment. You may be reassured within the realm of relationships that you have a good understanding of the current and future landscape You may be better able to balance an area of vulnerability with a strong sense of who you are and how you can make the impact you were born to make.

SCORPIO (October 21 – November 21)
You might just know or sense that commitment to some kind of collaborative effort involving the invisible realms of existence, might be wise. Collaboration with someone highly sensitive to ideas floating in the ethers – a guide, someone who’s passed on but remains available for consultation, ideas, inspiration and the important things you have trouble accessing on your own seems important. This probably relates to a higher form of creativity or a creative process that feels most naturally powerful to you. It might be of the highest magnitude – resembling something almost as powerful as pure love. You may need to figure out how to get yourself into the zone. As Pallas in Aquarius moves back into your 3rd house of connecting and communicating it may be time to cultivate a creative connection that might have been temporarily sidelined.

SAGITTARIUS (November 21- December 21)
The south node in your 1st house seems to be suggesting it would be a good idea for you to release some old, no longer valid beliefs about your general style and approach to life. This seems to require the breakdown of something stabilizing and “permanent” in favor of something more expansive and flexible – a new framework from which launch your most powerful form of magic. An enhancement of the kind of transformative healing you’re capable of conjuring up is dependent upon your ability to let go of what’s become habitual or “second nature.” This might destabilize you for awhile. But Pallas (the strategizer) is making way for something more interesting and enlightened to be fully implemented and applied. It’s a challenge. Meanwhile you might sense you’re on the right track. Mercury conjuncts the north Node in Gemini in your 7th house. You might receive a flash of clarity regarding your life purpose and how you can move in the direction of manifesting it. It relates to the proven fact that you can count on yourself rather than the belief that you might not be able to.

CAPRICORN (December 21-January 21)
This week Saturn retrogrades from it’s short stint in the sign of Aquarius back into the sign of Capricorn in your 11th house of social justice, your personal social life, socialization in general, and all the things that seems especially risky and confining within the social realm at this moment in time. Saturn is at his best in the sign of Capricorn. He’s happy to be the adult in the room – to take the rational approach, delay gratification, or to create a solid success out of something overwhelmingly challenging. Whatever the challenge Saturn is the organizing force addressing it head on. He makes it work for himself – and in the 11th house, for the group as well. You may be well-suited for taking on a leadership role. Pallas’s move into direct motion in your 7th house of relationships may give you the green light to make the commitment you’ve been mulling over for awhile. Venus retrograding in Gemini urges you to take your intuitive leanings into consideration – though it would be easier not to.

AQUARIUS (January 21-February 21)
Aquarius may be at a point of peak inspiration. Ideas run rampant through your mind. At any moment an idea that captures the essence of your life and your life’s work appears out of nowhere. You may be living within a whirlwind of ideas that could be difficult to organize. Staying focused might be a challenge. But the most important thing is paying attention and learning how to apply something enlightened or newly exciting to you. Neptune in Pisces square to Venus retrograding in
in Gemini is a direct connection to your muse. It’s well worth paying attention to your thoughts and writing them down. You may feel the urge to address two direct areas of interest. One might relate to your responsibility to lead the group in a more socially enlightened direction. The other might relate to something that feels joyful and enlivening. A creative “seeding time” is right around the corner. What you choose to cultivate seems especially important on June 3rd.
pisces otherworldly
PISCES (February 21-March 21)
Enforced alone time most likely works in Pisces favor. Lazing around, letting your thoughts flow wherever they want to go, having time to connect with whatever inspires you in the moment, the freedom to be productive or unproductive, and the chance to connect with the parts of yourself you’ve never had the time to connect with can make this an important/valuable time in your life. The truth is most Pisces feel vulnerable, exposed, and depleted when they’re in contact with others. But when that’s not necessary or possible you energy is most likely enhanced. So ultimately this might turn out to be one of the most productive times in your life. You may get the message that a monastic life could have been something that brought out the best in you. In fact something creatively influential might arise from this time of isolation. I wouldn’t force it, though. That might undermine the delicate, enriching, transcendent flow you’ve likely settled into.
