This week we approach the end of a four month introspective focus on how to align future expansion with our unique personality. We may have examined and released long held beliefs about ourselves that were not true. Taking into account our innate talents, what we love, and most desire, we may be opening to greater possibilities and more clarity.
Saturn, newly retrograde, facilitates any internal work we do to dismantle old assumptions and beliefs. This is more involved than it sounds. Beliefs are often so deeply ingrained, it’s difficult to recognize them as “choices”. Once we recognize that we are free to choose what we believe it’s easier to un-choose…it’s easier to change.
Considering how to integrate some previously previously unconsidered possibilities, makes change even easier. It may now be wise to deliberately consume information and philosophies that undermine what we have always assumed to be true. If they produce any cracks in our belief “template” those need to be carefully examined.
The universe is giving us about five months to experiment with, undo, and rework limiting belief systems that reflect realities we don’t like. Visiting different websites, changing your routine, taking a course outside your usual area of interest, deliberately exposing yourself to unusual and maybe “uncomfortable ideas,” travel, or reading something you wouldn’t ordinarily, familiarizes you with a bigger world and some interesting options.
Mercury is nearing the end of its passage through the impressionable sign of Pisces and just past a conjunction with Chiron. Next Tuesday it will enter the less impressionable, decisive sign of Aries. This week is the easiest time to introduce new things to the part of your mind that needs to be opened and transformed. If you remember how you were discouraged from pursuing something you loved and “gave in,” now is the perfect time to come up with solutions to undo that.
Have a great week,

ARIES (March 21-April 21)
Since the end of February you’ve been “on fire,” wide awake, and taking some action that had previously felt impossible. Mars acts on instinct and somewhat impulsively at times. But any kind of action usually feels preferable to sitting on your hands and stagnating. Mercury, now in your 12th house, shrouds your thoughts in mystery…hopefully not paranoia and secrets, but that is also a possibility. If you have recently remembered being wounded in a way that prevented you from doing what you loved, or feeling that “loving what you did” was beside the point, it’s time to reconsider. I predict you will make some decisions by the end of the week that put “things I love to do” at the top of your priority list. I predict that you will reinstate “how much do I love doing this” as the standard measure by which you judge whether or not you’re on the “right track.”
You are now in a position of attracting what you love, asserting yourself in ways that soothe and nourish. Most likely you are cooking great food that is savored by others. You may be simplifying lives, feeling more appreciative of simple things yourself, finding time to be lazy, peaceful and tranquil, knowing that the natural world and natural cycles can still keep you grounded and content. I suggest you continue to make yourself and others comfortable and relax into the abundance that surrounds you. By next Tuesday you will be required to act decisively to effectively manage your resources or to reveal what it is you’ve been hatching behind the scenes. Your actions will reflect how much (or how little) you value yourself. Pay attention. You are about to enter a period that clarifies your beliefs about what you deserve (or don’t deserve) in terms of financial support, give and take, and the fears that surround power. This area of your life, most likely,is in need of some work.
It may be time this week to think about engaging in something risky where adventures in love, creativity, and actualizing dreams is concerned. It may be time to consider going out on a limb, shaking things up, and increasing the edginess of your life in some way. Your mind is especially open and pliable, impressionable, and willing to consider an infinite array of possibilities. Envisioning, imagining, and fantasizing is especially easy now. By next Tuesday you may translate whatever has magically coalesced in your mind over the past couple weeks, into decisions and actions that makes life infinitely more interesting. There is a direct connection between the kind of actions you take and the beliefs you hold about relationships in general, and your role within them. Most likely there is still work to be done unraveling old beliefs, but you’re clarifying something that is incredibly important.
Cancers are now able to magically infuse their life’s vision with things they love and crave. Most likely those visions have to do with a beautiful home, stable family, solid sense of security, and having time to retreat into a beautiful cocoon that feels safe and protective. Leaving behind the hard driving urge to achieve high status, respect, and admiration, Cancers may now feel the urge to get back to the basics without having to continue to prove themselves in a world that feels harsh and uncaring. By next Tuesday some decision, yet in the gestational stage, will be made regarding balance between work and life, independence and dependence, heart-felt emotional expressions and self-disciplined professionalism, achievement, material security, and having more time for home and family. Beliefs about healthy routines and what is and what is not your responsibility are clarified, though this particular area of life continues to need your focus and attention. Friends may feel especially supportive now.
Leos are now in the process of unraveling some embedded beliefs about their right to express themselves in self-centered ways. Being self-centered is a double edged sword. On one hand it keeps you from traveling down inauthentic paths that have nothing to do with who you truly are. On the other, it prevents you from seeing the importance of walking in another’s shoes and feeling what another feels. It can alienate you from knowing how to attract the love and admiration you so desperately need. Most likely there are some adjustments that need to be made. Fortunately beliefs this week are clarified in ways that support a pivotal change. Expressing yourself enthusiastically is non-negotiable. But there is room for a type of compromise and sensitivity in relationships that may initially feel like a waste of time or an affront to your leadership skills. Don’t let that distract you. It’s worth considering.
The subtext of your life these days is unraveling beliefs you inherited from family members – beliefs that keep you from settling into your truest, most authentic self. There is some amazingly supportive energy aligning this week, that clarifies one of your undermining beliefs. It may be related to your commitment (or lack of commitment) to yourself, to your hidden talents, and to the balance maintained between what you give and what you receive in return. (Hint – there is no adequate repayment for agreeing to subdue the real you). There is a tendency for you to hide what you perceive as imperfect. This intensifies shame and gives great power to those who want to manipulate you. It’s time to reveal the fact that you’re not perfect, to experience yourself living through and energized by that revelation, and to disempower those who never had your best interest at heart.
Becoming aware of what you believe about your thoughts (they’re wrong, infallible, not to be trusted, or to be unquestionably relied upon) your relationship with siblings, neighbors, and the meaning you ascribe to your communication or lack of it, is your focus now. Chances are their are difficulties in one or more of these areas. This week though, energies surrounding relationship, friendship, and your beliefs combine in ways that fuel a revelation. It may resemble something like this: What is missing in your life is consistently supportive friendship. It is rooted in a belief that prevents you from making a strong commitment to befriending yourself. Most likely you are highly critical, judgmental, and rejecting of yourself in ways that are cruel and inhumane. That reality is reflected back to you in the form of unfriendliness and alienation. This week there is a crack in that belief template that makes it possible for you to choose something different.
Scorpios may have a difficult time this week being discriminating about the kind of fun they choose to engage in. Their mind is impressionable as Mercury in Pisces can interfere with their ability to judge what is real and what is not. Neptune can bring some depravity or delusion into the picture and Chiron can brings the element of wounding into overall scenario. Your work for the next couple years is to unravel and un-choose beliefs that undermine feelings of self-worth, deservability, and the effective management of resources. Make sure you protect your mind and its innocence this week as you would a small child from the lower, polluting, negative energies that exist. By the end of the week you may be required to make some decisions about work responsibilities, health, healing, and taking on a leadership role. Your thoughts must be pure and clear.
This week Sagittarians may be aware of heightened sexual desires, the joyful experiences of a new love affair, creativity that is primal and instinctive, and the irresistible urge to merge with another. If you’re unaware, erotic dreams may occupy your sleeping states. Any lull in your usual routine may be an opportunity to fantasize about enlivening the most uninhibited versions of yourself. On another level consciousness these days may revolve around throwing yourself into something you love to do as a means of bringing some essential part of yourself back to life. It is wise this week and for the next year to examine what you believe about your style and approach to life, what you believe about your role in relationships, and what you believe about your ability to initiate something new. More than anyone Sagittarius understands that if it isn’t fun anymore, or something you love to do, what’s the point? That puts you way ahead of the game.
What do you believe about invisible realms of existence, feelings, unknowns, endings, mysterious disconnections and reconnections, and the unexplained fear of annihilation? Your mission this week is to spend more time contemplating, to leave what is familiar and go to the mountaintop (metaphorically or literally) in search of ultimate truth. Capricorn rarely allows this type of “un-grounded time-wasting” to interfere with their “reality-based” agenda. But once every 30 years they venture so far away from their instincts and emotions that natural cycles take over to lure them back. The worst that can happen is that they become so uncomfortable with what they feel that they lose themselves to an addiction or illness. The best, though, is surrendering to the feeling that they’ve returned home to a place that had been lost to them. If they allow the robotic, driven tendencies to dissolve into watery, emotional, heart-felt reconnections to lost pieces of themselves, they are brought back to life.
AQUARIUS (January 21-February 21)
Aquarians may be in the process of recovering a dream they had for themselves that was shattered awhile ago. Is is not unusual for Aquarians to have to navigate through families that do not support the vision they have for themselves. To family members it often feels too risky, to un-grounded, to unattainable, or too edgy for them to wrap their heads around. Maybe early in life your belief in yourself was not strong enough to sustain itself and you surrendered to the kind of “normal life” and family expectations that satisfy most. But for you, those never will. What is most important now is examining your beliefs about who you are, where you belong, and what you truly love to do. This week it may be time to take some concrete steps to return to the kind of activities you love the most. Hint – this most likely has something to do with communication, writing, expressing your unusual and progressive ideas, breaking through boundaries that seem immoveable, and freeing yourself and others to express who they truly are.
PISCES (February 21-March 21)
The challenge you may have this week is how to manage your resources in ways that can support you doing what it is you love most. Fortunately Mercury, the planet of ideas, is at its most creative in the sign of Pisces. What you might usually fail to consider in terms of possibilities is less likely now. The infinite is opening up to you. There are no boundaries surrounding what is now possible and your ability to think in those terms. Allow your lower mind to connect with your higher mind to lead you toward some previously untapped solution. It will be time to set your ideas in motion through some kind of decision or action by the end of the week. The best part is that this week there is tremendous support for undermining a belief you’ve carried around for quite awhile about the nature of success, the nature of work and sacrifice, and your role in that whole process. If you believe that success requires you to sacrifice the kind of work you love, their may be some cracks appearing in that template. Choose something better.
